About Me

I am a former engineer with experience working both domestically and abroad. I retired after 25 years of teaching, during which I held roles such as Teacher, Principal Teacher, and Chartered Teacher of Mathematics. To enhance my professional development, I worked for the SQA as a course writer for Higher Applications of Mathematics and as an approved examiner for Advanced Higher Mathematics. Recently, I served on the Scottish Mathematical Council, and I remain an Associate Tutor at the University of Edinburgh.

I have a range of personal interests that keep me balanced and energised. I enjoy watching rugby, walking, playing chess, and listening to jazz.
